My name is Juliet Lucero and I am an Account Executive at Keenan & Associates. I have been working with charter schools since 2003, providing employee benefits consulting and insurance services. Keenan is the largest privately held insurance broker/consulting firm in California. Keenan specializes in proprietary programs for schools and public agencies.

On a personal level, I am married to a wonderful husband who runs four charter schools in the Inland Empire. We have a two year old son. He is a joy! I love sports; my favorite sports are baseball, football, and hockey.

In my experiences working with hundreds of charter schools over the years, I have found a real need to educate employees and school management on a variety of Human Resources and Employee Benefit related topics. I have decided to start this blog to share some of my innovative and unique solutions that have helped saved charter schools millions of dollars over the years. At the same time, I want to provide a resource to charter schools for information on compliance and laws as it relates to HR and Employee Benefits.
